Police Association policy:

Towards a Safer NZ

The New Zealand Police Association has launched a policy document Towards a Safer New Zealand: Police and Law & Order Polices for the Future.

With a uniquely well-informed frontline police perspective on law and order issues, the Police Association has an important role to play not only as a leading commentator on law and order issues, but also by proposing solutions.

At a time when debate is too often dominated by ill-informed opinion, by publishing this document the Police Association seeks to focus debate on the most important issues in policing and law and order in New Zealand today, and ensure policymakers are well informed by policing experience both in New Zealand and overseas
